Canine Good Citizen

 

The Canine Good Citizen Program was established by the American Kennel Club to reinforce responsible pet ownership. It is designated for owners of both purebred and mixed breed dogs. This program certifies that dogs have the training required to be reliable, well-behaved family and community members. 

 

When owners and their dogs pass the 10 item CGC test, the dogs receive a CGC title and their owners receive a certificate from the AKC.

  

In lieu of all the animal rights legislation, breed-specific legislation and insurance company canine prejudices, this certificate is a valuable asset!
